Shipping & cold-chain

Dispatch times

Honey and propolis orders ship from Forcalquier within 2 to 4 working days. Mead is shipped together with your honey order, in temperature-controlled packaging — between May and September we ship perishables Monday to Wednesday only, to avoid weekend transit in heat.

If your order includes a gift sleeve or a handwritten message, add one working day. Transit times below apply once your parcel has left the apiary.

Packaging & cold-chain

Every jar travels in a wax-paper disc seal, with a screw-top metal lid, cushioned in crumpled kraft inside a recycled-kraft box. No single-use plastic. Mead bottles are individually sleeved and tucked in honeycomb-cardboard inserts. Perishable shipments (fresh pollen, raw propolis) include a cold pack between May and September.

During harvest peaks (July lavender, October chestnut, December Christmas), dispatch times may be extended by 1 to 2 working days.

Tracking your order

Once your order is dispatched, you receive an email confirmation with a tracking number. You can follow your parcel on our website or directly on the carrier's tracking page.

Tracking information can take up to 24 hours to become active after the dispatch confirmation has been sent.

Important notice — UK customers

Since Brexit, orders shipped to the United Kingdom may be subject to import duties and VAT. These charges are payable by the recipient and are not included in our shipping fees.

The amount of duty and VAT varies according to the type of goods and their value. We recommend contacting your local customs office for more information on any charges that may apply.

Important notice — mead shipping

Mead is restricted to the European Union, the United Kingdom and Switzerland for now, due to alcohol-shipping regulations. We are unable to ship mead to the United States, Canada or Australia at present.
